Your mission
Shape the Future of Space & Mobility
UNIO is revolutionizing mobility with seamless space-based connectivity. We are scaling an early-stage venture at the forefront of SpaceTech and currently seeking a Connectivity Systems Engineer to join us.
You will develop next-generation Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) – Terrestrial Network (TN) edge devices with AI-driven predictive network switching and software-defined networking (SDN) architectures. The role focuses on designing and optimizing intelligent telematics solutions enabling seamless connectivity across satellite, cellular, and other terrestrial networks for land mobility applications.
You will report directly to the CTO, working cross-functionally across the technical and commercial teams exercising fluency with network protocols and edge computing frameworks complemented by developing AI-driven predictive switching and routing algorithms supporting UNIO’s technical execution of exceptional customer experiences.
Your scope of activities :
- Act as the primary point of contact for all topics related to UNIO’s AI algorithm development and deployment across our customer ecosystem while ensuring stakeholder alignment on objectives, timelines and deliverables;
- Design, develop and deploy a telematics edge device integrating NTN-TN connectivity;
- Implement AI/ML/DNN/CNN models enabling intelligent network selection, predictive handovers and adaptive bandwidth management;
- Develop software-defined network (SDN) enabled architectures for dynamic traffic routing and efficient resource allocation in hybrid NTN-TN environments;
- Ensure low latency, high throughput and optimal power efficiency for telematics edge devices.
